       Developed and implemented databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies for the Ghana Guinea Worm Eradication Program to optimized efficiency and quality.  Interpreted data, analyzed results using statistical techniques to produce ongoing reports in various formats including graphs, charts, maps, PowerPoint presentations as required to management and partners for strategic planning. Acquired data from the field analyzed and maintained databases and further developed the structure or format of the database as required, incorporating ideas and amendments from field staffs and partners.  Filtered and “cleaned” data / databases by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. Participated in the definition of research directions, preliminary analysis/ evaluation of project data and preparing draft reports, undertake literature searches, basic proofreading and editing work, produce written reports, tabulate data and prepare visual materials for research reports and presentations. Directed and supervised the day-to-day operations of regional data managers and data entry clerks, providing any necessary amendments to ensure their smooth performance and regular review of their effectiveness. Planned, implemented, and maintained data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol; coordinated the collection and analysis of research data. Managed the process of adopting and documenting standards and best practices to be used in the programme data management through monthly data reports submitted from the field. Provided technical support to the programme and other agency staff on the specific data required from them in relation to the different indicators being monitored (telephone support or travel to the field) as required.
