Assignments commercially successful.Designed and/or led consulting assignments ranging from strategy development, governance, client management service design through to politically complex multi-party procurement. Outcomes included:Client obtained technology platform required to achieve desired competitive edge within a cost constrained and complex funding environment.Client able to grow maturity of internal information technology function while supporting regional transformation of service delivery.Established collaborative procurement and service transformation programme by 7 District Health Boards (responsible for the health of approximately 26% of the New Zealand population) as an initiative of national importance. Developed the most mature and clinically led definition of patient centred integrated shared care in the country at the time. Procurement confirmed information technology required was available. Digital Hospital Operations Centre: Led implementation. Enabled optimised patient flow through inpatient services (ED, 19 wards, theatres, 2 geographic locations: over 1,200 users). Benefits being realised. Organisational change management very successful in a turbulent high pressure environment. Governance Group formally commended the excellent work delivered by the project manager and team.Pharmacy Management System: Led implementation. Benefits: Improvements to delivery and management of medicines; exceeded expectations. Created foundation for a regional solution. Led development of local and regional business cases. Instigated the Central Region Pharmacy Leaders Group, facilitated regionally agreed shared data sets.
