  I worked at The Saber as a writer and an editor. I submitted articles twice a week for publication online and in print. I specialized in sports writing and would write articles over the women and men's sports teams at Columbus State University. I also edited my colleagues' articles to make sure the quality of writing was up to par. Through this job, I learned a great deal about teamwork, duty, responsibility, and leadership. I had set deadlines and responsibilities that I had to carry out.

  At Launch Trampoline Park, I strived to maintain a safe, FUN and well-organized environment. I worked as a cashier, court monitor, and as a part of the office staff. As a cashier, I rang guests up as they purchased their tickets into the park. I was trained to dispute any conflicts that arose as well as engage the guests in lively conversation. As a court monitor, I monitored the courts to ensure that each and every guest was safe. As a member of the office staff, I took phone calls and booked birthday parties. I interacted with guests and tried to create a positive, playful experience for the kids and guests who were jumping on the trampolines.   In Spring of 2020, I participated in the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. I was located at Hollywood Studio's Galaxy's Edge as a Food and Beverage Cast Member. I had many responsibilities in this position such as greeting guests, cashiering and serving food. Throughout this experience, I gained skills in customer service, teamwork, and social networking. I was also able to shadow many PR specialists from the Walt Disney Company during my time there.

  I helped plan, arrange, and execute many special events for one of Gatlinburg’s largest tourist attractions including banquets, passholder-exclusive experiences, weddings, proposals and a Fourth of July celebration. I aided the company in drafting plans and creating ideas for their upcoming seasonal activities — namely Halloween and Christmas. I worked directly alongside the marketing team to promote special events and be a part of the creative process in designing a logo for our events.
