      Job Description and Responsibilities:-Serve as the Chief Administrative Officer appointed by the Board of City Commissioners. Responsible for all personnel, finance, and city clerk responsibilities. The City Manager has line authority over the entire organization: 15 full-time employees, 2 shared employees, 15+ part-time employees. In addition, the City Manager implements the policies and objectives established by the City Commission and ensures that city services are provided in the most efficient, effective, and fiscally responsible manner possible.-Serve as Director of Community Redevelopment Area (CRA). The CRA undertakes large-scale projects including park construction and improvement and stormwater management. The CRA funds downtown redevelopment efforts including streetscape reconstruction, facade improvement program, and promotional activities such as holiday events and a farmers’ market. -Serve as the Land Development Regulations (LDR) Administrator in charge of interpreting and enforcing the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations, including subdivision approval process, zoning changes, and future land use amendments. As LDR Administrator, the City Manager also administers all development approvals from building permits to large-scale development projects.-Serve as Floodplain Administrator responsible for development permitting in flood hazard areas and ensuring conformance with National Flood Insurance Program.-Represent the City of Trenton as Secretary/Treasurer of the Nature Coast Regional Water Authority.
