  Oversee all aspects of corporate CAD operations; manage the CAD systems; maintain CAD applications including but not limited to Autodesk and Bentley products; coordinate with executive leadership and project management. Provide user support and training; organize group training events; write training documentation.Answer internal calls regarding CAD related issues; troubleshoot the situation; guide the caller through the proposed solution or perform the operations for him/her. Maintain CAD standards manual; coordinate and distribute revisions to the standards.Customize and deploy CAD software applications; investigate options for future upgrades; coordinate with IT; plan for future CAD stations and network expansions; obtain quotes from various hardware and software vendors for future CAD systems product purchases and services; review and negotiate software license agreements. I was a guest speaker on the Autodesk "Collision Tour" in Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Anaheim, and Houston. I spoke at the Autodesk Data Management Summit in San Rafael.In 2008, I was a participant at the Civil 3D Gunslinger event in Manchester, NH. Show less Utilize AutoCAD, Softdesk/Land Desktop and various other software to produce civil engineering plans to meet a high level of quality and follow process and CAD standards.Designs included water, sewer, paving, grading, drainage, signing, striping, and site geometry for residential subdivisions, commercial sites and roadways to meet permit design standards for public and private sector clients. New and rehabilitation/improvements project experiences.Other responsibilities included determining design budgets, project pre-planning and scheduling. Additional tasks included quantities/cost estimates, earthwork and storm pipe sizing calculations, resolving pipe conflicts, coordination with internal and external disciplines.
