Mainly responsible for NFC during this period but also had responsibility for some Bluetooth releases.WLAN (Oct2004-Jun2007): Selected as Project Manager for the first WLAN release from our group. Project completed on schedule despite having additional SW delivery responsibilities. Continued to manage WLAN releases for around 3 years including the selection and early development of 1st combo (multi technology) device and the roadmapping of a GPS module project.FM Radio (Oct 2002-Sep2004): Successfully delivered a device that was used in approximately 500 million Nokia products. Responsible for 7 Software and Hardware engineers, project and resource planning, project budgeting, supplier selection, requirement gathering/analysis, specification creation, development testing and integration of the device into Nokia platforms and products. Responsible for the development original Hive thermostat, including: Industrial design, firmware, UI, ZigBee Connectivity, working with Chinese ODM; CE & FCC certifications; managing in-life issues and hardware/firmware updates. Responsible for in-house OEM development of Hub360 hub/bridge and ZigBee sensors, along with ODM and white-label developments of other ZigBee connected products such as Boiler data logger for remote diagnostics, LED light bulbs, siren, keypad and other devices. Also responsible for the test and trials team for beta testing and the firmware QA team.
