  Having made a substantial global impact by improving and scaling Cross Border Data Clearance (CBDC) operations (e.g., data privacy, bank secrecy, outsourcing compliance), I stepped into a critical global leadership and lead teams of 70+ personnel across the US,EMEA, APAC, and LATAM to streamline global data transfers in 95+ countries.After establishing and scaling Citi’s first integrated data-transfer function, which processes 8000+ country clearances per year, I focused efforts on rolling out a compliance monitoring program for internal Citi affiliates and 3rd parties to meet local privacy and outsourcing regulations.As deputy to the MD of Privacy Compliance services, I assembled a global program team to solve privacy, outsourcing, and 3rd party management problems—critical to overcoming technical, business, regulatory, and organizational challenges. Our programs, automated data protection and assessment processes, and workflow solutions ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PDPA,and 50+ other privacy/data transfer regulations/supervisor expectations.Heading up Citi’s response to Schrems II compliance, I leveraged data transfer mechanisms to comply with EU data protection standards and enhance privacy safeguards and legal frameworks. To comply with GDPR and Schrems II, I steered my team to remediate 1000+ contracts in record time and introduced global CBDC compliance and performance metrics, which were adoptedglobally as the enterprise-wide gold standard in compliance measurement.An execution specialist, I introduced playbooks that tracked 20+ global privacy regulations/privacy law implementation and my standardized process to handle client-initiated Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) attained GDPR compliance; I provided international regulators reviews of 100+ outgoing regulatory notifications and approvals to central banks.
