I worked with various Palestinian and Israeli interest groups in and around Washington D.C. who helped us become acquainted with every facet of the political, social and religious aspects of the Middle East conflict. Dec 2004 - Aug 2008Fit and Wear Test SpecialistAs a Fit and Wear Test Specialist for New Balance it was my responsibility to collect feedback on a variety of the company's products. This involved two types of "real world" testing protocol. We designed Fit Tests that simulated a store try on experience of athletic footwear. This allowed us to collect appropriate data relating to the fit and comfort impressions of the product. We also maintained a database of 10,000 product tester's that wore the company's athletic footwear and apparel out in the elements. These two types of tests allowed us to generate reports on the fit and wear of our products to the product development and marketing teams.While I was there, I also was responsible for the company's donation program. Whirlaway is one of New England's premier specialty footwear stores and a seven time winner of the Competitor Magazine's Top 50 Award. As sales floor manager it is my responsibility to conduct all staff trainings and maintain only the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. I assist the lead buyer in forecasting and managing inventory for over 70 brands. I spearheaded several marketing efforts to drive retail sales.
