      Washington Semester Program Sustainable Development

      The Sustainable Development program is a unique course of study that combines an engaging seminar, visits with numerous activists and leaders, study of strategies to achieve change, and valuable interactions among students. Together, we learn about key actors in the global community, study specific issues such as education, inequality, the Sustainable Development Goals, social entrepreneurship and public/private partnerships, conservation and climate change.

      Camp Shriver is a inclusion Summer Camp whose mission is to use sports as a vehicle to bring children with and without disabilities together so that they have the opportunity to develop their motor and social skills, create positive peer relationships, and make new friends. I was tasked with leading a group of counselors and responsible for 12-20 campers.
