  I created the brand to help spread awareness of mental health through apparel and fashion. The main hoodie design features a QR code that, when scanned, brings the scanner to a list of mental health resources. This plays off of the natural human curiosity as it’s scanned in the hallways of school, in a Starbucks line, and even on the street. Each time someone scans they are reminded of the importance of being there for each other, and they are given multiple directories and resources for mental well-being.   Leading workshops, coordinating events, and facilitating community-driven opportunities. - Created and developed plans on community involvement, mentorship, and advocating for community-building events- Reached out and recorded podcast episodes oriented towards informing current students on the field- Created and collaborated with a team to build a three part workshop series on UX Designer jobs, involving alumni, portfolio management, and resume building. - Directed a team of 11 designers through the production of weeklong design competition. Achieved goals of 350+ student participants, 80+ industry professionals, and $50k+ in sponsorship.- Organized workshops to teach software, and help facilitate workshops oriented towards career prep in the field - Collaborated with exiting officers to coordinate social media copy through Discord and Instagram to promote student-facing club events, workshops, mentorship, programs, and design competitions.

  As an Orientation assistant, I helped incoming freshmen with their transition from High School to SCAD’s way of life. I served to inform and assist freshman through orientation and further within SCAD’s FYE (an extended 10 week orientation) course that is required for all students. I sent out weekly emails to announce interesting events for the students, as well as ensuring they always had a student to ask questions to.“Orientation assistants are enthusiastic, highly visible student leaders who are trained to help students and parents during orientation. Students who fill these paid positions have extensive knowledge about the college, act as co-instructors for the First-year Experience course, and contribute greatly to the success of the orientation and transition of new SCAD students.” Show less
