  As a Controls Project Engineer in Warehouse Department I was responsible for;• Make a design document which specifies what standard equipment is used for warehouse system and what are special equipment as per Vanderlande way of working.• Design, develop and generate PLC software for S7 PLC's using Simatic Manager/TIA Portal as per requirements.• Test the software with emulation model and perform IFAT with customer.• Deploy the software at sites in Europe/Australia/USA/Canada and commission the system.• Commissioning includes –Using the software check if electrical wiring is correct i.e.integrating electrical wiring requirements to pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Next step is to automate the machines as per system functionality.Test the system thoroughly with different scenarios.Supporting customers with troubleshooting and fault finding during breakdowns in older warehouse automation systemsI have also worked briefly in SCADA department where I was responsible for;• Creating a design document.• Understand the orientation of system with the help of mechanical drawings.• Design this system on SCADA with Webfactory software.• Create a database on a server of PLC signals with the help of PLC engineer.• Test the application to check if correct alarms are reported by machines.• Deploy this SCADA application on site server.
