  My final years were spent focused as a Senior Technician and Manager of the Service Desk, responsible for ensuring a high standard and professional experience to our clients. Specific roles included; busy Helpdesk environments with on the spot decision making, accurate and up-to-date job logging, mentoring of new graduates, multitasking, call priority handling, teamwork and good client management skills with acute timekeeping and punctuality. The next three years were spent providing a mixture of on and offsite support to our customers, based mainly within Cambridge and London. This work included laptop builds, server implementation and maintenance (physical and virtual), software support, DR planning, backup monitoring and networking. Initially employed as a junior IT apprentice with day release once a week to Cambridge Regional College. After two years I obtained my Level 3 ICT Professional Competence Diploma and continued working with the company full time.
