  On-board computer officer (violations monitoring expert)

  Responsibilities:Responsible for the Real-time and continuous violation tracking of about 100 registered trucks; to provide hourly report on drivers' violations. It involves real-time violation monitoring of apportioned trucks. - Active tracking: Done with an internet ready computer within the official hour 8.00am - 5.00pm and extra duty 5:01pm - 8:00pm in the office; Saturdays: 9.00am to 4.00pm in the office. - Passive tracking: Done with a preset violation notifier on a mobile internet-ready telephone while on transit to and from home, and at home up to 10.00pm daily.Hourly reporting of truck violations to the transporter of the violating truck and the PTSM (Product Transport Safety Manager) who collate and send to the exco-members on duty.Provide real time alerts and investigations leading to immediate counseling of non-conforming drivers. Provide daily summary report of violations to the PTSM and OBC Administrative Officer for collation, sanction and reward; as well as follow-up with concerned Transporters by 8:20am of the following day.Provide daily, weekly, and monthly summary report of all tracking activities.Monitor Driving Violations such as:-over speeding, night driving, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, Continuous driving, Daily/Weekly Driving time, Daily/Weekly Rest time.Monitor Behavior such as:- Following the Driving Point System (DPS) by collation and also checks that Transporters’ collation of DPS points are done.Report any breakdown/accident promptly to Distribution Manager/HSEQ team by e-mail or telephone for necessary action.Probe all OBCs on an hourly basis for effectiveness and functionality.Reporting hardware/software errors to the IT management for repairs.
