  I am currently a Nurse Manager for the ambulatory nurses and CMA's in the outpatient cancer center. This is a new program that was initiated several years ago and has been quite successful. The responsibilities for this role includes creating and maintaining chemotherapy treatment plans, entering orders for labs and radiology tests, patient education regarding chemotherapy, chemotherapy consents, enrollment in patient assistance programs, 360 guardant, Onyx 360, Celgene Risk Management, and many other programs. I am proficient in EPIC, Beacon, microsoft office, excell, word, I Share, and Citrix. Other roes of my position include keeping the workflow from slowing within the clinic, problem solving with problems within the lab department, pharmacy, CMA's, and clinic staff. I am a certified case manager (CCM) and will soon be obtaining my OCN certification in oncology. Show less

  I began as a Utilization Review Nurse. I then transitioned to the Case Management area and became a certified case manager. I worked as a preceptor, helped develop the discharge planning program, created a workbook for this program, and volunteered for many projects including a pilot program with CIGNA insurance.
