    • Club LSM

      Jun 2016 - Sept 2018

The Louvain School of Management Club is an Association Without any Lucrative Purpose. It is the official link between the Louvain School of Management and its students since 1992. The LSM Club consists in about 50 students divided into 9 departments, each with its own business and student-oriented projects. I was elected Vice President and Head of the Business Events Project in 2017. This rewarding experience taught me more that I could ever expect. On the one hand, we need to communicate with the Alumni LSM Association, the LSM and its students. On the other hand, we have to build a trust relationship with companies. Therefor I developed my communication and organization skills. Moreover, we learned to work as a team to meet our objectives and stay Professional. In the Business Events Project, we aim to bring students closer to the professional world in order to help them to become tomorrow’s entrepreneur. Day by day we strive to build a network of future responsible leaders by developing people's skills. Together, we create, organize, and manage "Company Presentations", conferences, meetings, etc. We give the opportunity to students to discover big companies such as PwC, L'Oréal, KPMG, Unilever, etc. and to learn more about their recruitment policy, work opportunities and internships. We also work in deep collaboration with the Alumni LSM Association through projects such as “Preparing for employability” and “Exchanging with Alumni”. I have also acquired a better understanding of the corporate world. In fact, this experience gave me the opportunity to enlarge my network. As master’s students, our purpose was to help the non-profit organization by developing a free online marketing campaign, using Google AdWords (www.google.be/adwords) and online marketing principles, to improve and drive traffic to their website. The funds came from the nonprofit program Ad Grants (www.google.be/grants). To this extent, we were given 10.000 USD of free online advertising through Google AdWordsWith a team of 4, we evaluated their current online marketing, outlined a strategy, run a three to four-week advertisingcampaign, assessed the results and then provided them with recommendations to further develop their online marketing. In the end, we were selected as 3rd winning team out of 1400 in whole Belgium for hard work, results and team spirit.
