      At Chance UK, I served as an administrative and creative intern in charge of organizing mail, writing and logging checks and finances, assisting program managers with creative duties, compiling spreadsheets, assisting with donor research, writing thank you letters, and contacting local businesses for support. I gained experience in an office environment and also in being part of team.

      Childcare Coordinator

      As a childcare coordinator, I was in charge of the safety and entertainment of up to 20 children at a time ranging in ages from 6 months to eight years old. I had to be aware of safety concerns and food allergies and also provide entertainment for the children in my care. I had to effectively communicate with parents about policies and procedures and make sure that these were adhered to.

      I was an equine therapy volunteer in Argentina, an after school program volunteer in Peru, and received my TEFL certification from internationally accredited Maximo Nivel. I continued to volunteer in Tanzania as an HIV support volunteer and helped fundraise over $2000 to build a sustainable income generating business for HIV positive female artisans.
