  Machine Learning Engineer

  At the Canadian Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Ethical Design Lab (CRAIEDL), I developed an autonomous PiCar-X leveraging YOLOv11 for real-time traffic sign detection using the GTSRB dataset. I trained a YOLOv11 model, achieving a 97% F1 score for 10 traffic sign classes, optimizing detection accuracy and inference speed.As a Machine Learning Engineer, I designed and implemented deep learning models for real-time embedded AI, integrating computer vision algorithms with hardware for seamless autonomous navigation. My role involved data preprocessing, model optimization, and fine-tuning hyperparameters to enhance system efficiency. Additionally, I applied advanced analytical techniques to interpret and visualize complex datasets, improving model performance and deployment on edge devices. Show less
