      Construction Management and SafetySeasoned Construction Management Professional with building experience on three continents.Recently planned and managed the construction of a four office facilities in Afghanistan designed to accommodate four senior executives and their staffs. Simultaneously planned and managed construction efforts for an additional five critical facilities bringing all projects ahead of time and under budget despite severe logistical, environmental and budget constraints.Directed the efforts of three project managers and 127 person workforces and coordinated the efforts of Local National contractors, Afghanistan National Army engineers and other coalition engineers to conduct multiple development projects across Afghanistan. Monitored progress of USAID and U.S. Military funded Humanitarian projects, developed progress, completion and ROI reports for various U.S. agencies. Prepared “As-built” drawings and recorded design changes for projects in Bosnia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Djibouti. Developed and enforced strict safety protocols on each of the aforementioned projects and deployments despite a severe lack of worker training, education, and safety awareness within the contractor’s workforce. Completed all projects with zero reportable safety mishaps.Led 37 personnel through all aspects of public works operations to include transportation, shops, facilities management, asset management, safety and compliance documentation.Reduced energy costs by five percent annually by implementing green building technologies. Decreased lost time accidents by 17% through worker training, inspections and creating a “safety culture” in the workplace.
