      Trainee Assistant Manager

      Having started as a part-time glass collector whilst at University, I quickly progressed to a full time member of staff. I was trained in both the restaurant and bar aspects of the business. I began to run cocktail master-classes, a fun and interactive 2 hour session where groups of up to 30 people are taught how to make cocktails by a single host. After a year of full time employment I was promoted to Supervisor and given Bar Operations and Training as my responsibilities. I trained both waiting-on staff and bar staff in my time as Supervisor. After a year of holding the Supervisor position, I gained my Personal Lisence and I was trusted to run my own shifts - Opening and closing the building and being solely responsible for the running of the bar. I was promoted to Trainee Assistant Manager, a role I have held for a year. My responsibilities now include: - Duty Management - Creating the perfect environment to enable the delivery of an amazing customer experience.- Ordering - The responsibility to ensure the business has all the tools to run efficiently.- Stock Control - I am responsible for controlling and moving up to £20,000 worth of Stock.- Training - Putting on fun and interactive training sessions for new and established staff.- Staff Incentives - Ensuring performance in key areas by providing exciting staff incentives.- Bar Operations - The responsibility of maintaining bar standards, from cleanliness to detailed plans that ensure the bar is running at its optimum productivity.I am now looking to gain the last pieces of experience necessary for me to be signed off as an Assistant Manager.
