  The Neelum–Jhelum Hydropower Project is part of a run-of-river hydroelectric power scheme in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, designed to divert water from the Neelum River to a power station on the Jhelum River under the supervision of WAPDA and Neelum Jhelum Consultants (a joint venture between two overseas companies, MWH Global (USA) and Norplan (Norway) and three local companies, NESPAK, ACE(Pvt) Limited and NDC). The installed capacity of 969 MW with construction cost of 4.2 billion US Dollars. The Dam is a 60m tall and 8,000,000 m3 capacities of which 2,800,000 m3 is peak storage. The drop in elevation between the dam and power station afford an average hydraulic head 420m. 收起
