      Master's degree physics gpa: 17.20/20

During my master's studies, I completed many challenging courses, mostly achieving high grades. This made me one of the best students in the class. The second half of my master’s studies involved working on an interesting project providing me with experience in research, mathematical modelling, and programming. The programming language I used was Matlab. The outcome of my hard work was a thesis which I defended publicly and a research article that was published in a solid scientific journal.

I did my PhD at QuSpin, at the Department of physics, at NTNU under supervision of Professor Jacob Linder. During this period, I performed research through a combination of mathematical modeling and computational methods. I mostly worked on hererostructures of superconductors and magnetic materials. When it comes to reducing the energy consumption of electronic devices, superconductors can play an essential role.

As a woman with a background in physics, this was a good opportunity to use my time to help female students at NTNU who are interested in physics to find their path.
