  The Government Relations office was a lobbyist organization promoting sustainability, health care, international trade and finance within Congress. This office setting required much flexibility to adapt to changing policies and current issues in Congress. My duties in government relations included organizing conferences, coordinating flights, answering phones, updating Congressional news, expense invoices and shipping. NPR is a non-profit broadcasting organization funded on public and private memberships. Gained first-hand experience with the inner workings of the human resources department while assisting the internship coordinator. I tracked and organized applications and posted job descriptions while researching prospective interns. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading capabilities to post job listings and respond to internship inquiries. George Washington University, located just outside of Washington D.C., offers graduate and undergraduate programs in their ten colleges. On the marketing team, I learned data entry for software called Accquire, produced mass mailings, and answered phones. I was entrusted with my own research project using Excel to conduct demographic analysis.
