  Signals Intelligence Analyst and Terminal Guidance Operator

  I had the privilege of serving with 1st Battalion 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne): Special Operations Team Bravo (SOT-B) as a SIGINT and Terminal Guidance analyst. During my tenure I supported tactical and strategic SIGINT operations within the Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force Arabian Peninsula’s (CJSOTF-AP) Area of Operations. Additionally I aided with coordinating USASOC direct action and foreign internal defense assets with national level collection systems and platforms. My second military service opportunity I served with the 141st Military Intelligence Battalion as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Terminal Guidance (STG), Operator with 141st MI Battalion. I acted as a subject matter expert supporting tactical SIGINT collection and time sensitive intelligence operations during the crossover between Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.   During my tenure with Booz Allen Hamilton I have had the opportunity to work with world class individuals and organizations. Booz Allen’s diverse set of Federal clients has allowed me to obtain a wide-ranging degree of experience with everything from intelligence operations to cyber-security and management. Some of that experience has included but is not limited to:- Overseeing dissemination of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) products to US Congress, White House and Intelligence community.- Analyzing and editing intelligence products in accordance with Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) standards and mitigate data spillage.- Serving as the team lead, overseeing six staff members, and acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for verifying over 1,000 Defense Intelligence Digest products were properly classified and edited before being transmitted to senior policy makers.- Providing IT commodity support to over 2,300 DIA analysts ensuring equipment and software requirements were met organization-wide.- Facilitating operational and software transitions and ensured software continuity across-departments.- Coordinating IT support operations at Joint Force Headquarters National Capital Region’s (JFHQ-NCR) Operations Center and provide IT infrastructure and internal IT support.-Maintaining cyber security for the DOD-wide Computer Network Defense Center by monitoring advanced network defense interfaces and databases and mitigating cyber network attacks.- Conducting dozens of deep packet inspections on potential malware in order to thwart foreign cyber attacks on DOD software.- Isolating unauthorized intrusions with malicious software on multiple DOD systems and prevented from advancing across national level networks.
