      Activities and Societies: Evans Scholar, Starcourse (concert promotion organization) Evans Scholarships are scholarships given to caddies (think Caddyshack!) This even afforded me the opportunity to caddy in two PGA tour events.As senior manager of Starcourse, I booked and promoted concerts by such '80's bands as Los Lobos, Husker Du, the Psychedelic Furs, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and B.B. King, which led to one of my most embarrassing moments - running out of gas with B.B. King in the car!
