      The Children's Trust Fund of Oregon is a non-profit organization first established as a government entity in 1985 to eliminate child abuse and neglect in Oregon. CTFO funds and collaborates with 46 nonprofit affiliates providing home visiting, early childhood education, parenting education, and relief nursery services. Prevent Child Abuse Oregon was a program of CTFO at this time and consistently operated three committees of statewide stakeholders: Executive Committee, Education and Awareness Committee, and Policy and Research Committee.- Identified emerging best practice strategies, literature, trends, and child abuse prevention programs to address and respond to threat of harm.- Identified and remained current on data relative to abuse and neglect prevalence and cumulative risk factors.- Managed and sustained collaborative partnerships with statewide agencies and local community providers.- Oversaw CTFO's grant making process for selection of effective programs, including conducting site visits, providing technical assistance, managing contracts and compliance, and analyzing data gathered from reports and evaluations in partnership with University of Oregon.- Worked with stakeholders from business, public and nonprofit entities, including facilitation and coordination of Prevent Child Abuse Oregon committees.- Executed an annual statewide Child Abuse Prevention Month campaign, growing partnerships 10x and distributed pinwheels 3x.- Identified opportunities for grant writing and capacity building.- Planned and implemented marketing strategies to promote giving campaigns including the charitable tax checkoff, workplace giving, and annual appeal letters.- Managed projects and partnered with the Executive and Finance Directors on strategic and business planning. - Gathered stories of grantee and programmatic successes and highlighted them in website content, social media, and e-newsletters.       • Led multiple week-long training programs annually, developing and updating the curriculum and creating PowerPoints and activities that engaged trainees.• Spearheaded a 9-month process to create the Collaborative Child Abuse Response program; managed experts from a wide scope of disciplines to aid investigators in being more trauma-informed, developmentally-appropriate, culturally-responsive, and legally sound, greatly expanding unrestricted income.• Oversaw the implementation of Primary Care Clinical Physical Abuse Training and yearlong program delivery of the Oregon Child Abuse Solutions Medical Academy.• Identified low pay as a barrier to organizational success, initiating a new strategy to increase pay, influencing alignment across the Board, and dramatically increasing pay by up to 68% for staff.• Seamlessly pivoted in-person training formats to remote functions to meet health and safety changes during the COVID-19 pandemic; procured all needed software and technology and built daily schedules that aligned teams across the remote format.• Published Oregon's Interviewing Guidelines in partnership with subject matter experts, ensuring children receive high-quality interviews when abuse is suspected.• Advanced research that compared proposals and engaged Board to institute a first-ever retirement plan, healthcare benefits, and flexible PTO policies that ensured staff with lived experience, marginalized identities, and disabilities could thrive. • Increased membership by 20% and increased attendance at quarterly membership meetings by 42%.• Expanded training from 170 opportunities annually for 2+ disciplines to 1,400 opportunities for 6+ disciplines.• Led negotiations on behalf of Children's Advocacy Centers and the Oregon Health Authority to adjust an abrupt halt in medical reimbursement billing, recovering losses in the tens of thousands.• Headed the full scope of rebranding efforts that garnered a 100% growth in the annual budget and expanded staff.
