  As an intern for the College Internship Program and Walt Disney World, I worked at the Caribbean Beach Resort's check-in house as a bell services dispatcher which involved interacting with guest as they arrive and using a dispatch tracking system to alert bell service vans to pick up guests needing transportation to their rooms. The experience, while not a professional internship, taught me a lot about providing world class customer service and about the tools and resources needed to manage a large scale operation.   This is a new position in Nordstrom's supply chain network. Previously, production planning was handled at a department manager level in coordination with senior operations managers. I first worked to understand how leaders were currently planning for their departments, and then created tools and resources to standardize their processes. I created a daily performance recap to measure the success of their plans in terms of headcounts, units processed, and PPH (Pieces per Hour) and assisted with peak planning for the Anniversary Sale and Holiday 2021 events. I regularly work with business leaders, tech partners, industrial engineers, and others to identify ways to fill in gaps in our data visibility. I have recently partnered with Allitix to create a highly detailed planning tool in the web-based Anaplan platform. This will enable Nordstrom's Supply Chain FC and DC locations to transition planning from department leader led plans to production controller led plans that are created with a higher-level vantage and an ability to balance competing priorities in the most effective ways. Show less As a Supply Chain Area Manager 2 (formerly titled Assistant Manger Warehouse 2), I managed a fulfilment team of 120 full-time employees and an additional 100 seasonal employees during peak events.
