      In this position, I assisted director and cameraman working on a documentary film "Welcome to Lee, Maine", a story of how a small Maine town is coping with the loss of two soldiers in the Iraq War. As the mother of one of the soldiers who was killed, I was able to combine my skills as a writer and storyteller with a personal understanding of emotion involved in the story. My tasks included contacting and scheduling interviewers, conducting on-camera interviews, suggesting B-role shots, and giving feedback on unedited footage. Show less
