  As a Management Trainee, I was associated with the Manufacturing department of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Kochi Refinery. My work involved process monitoring, troubleshooting and end-to-end operation of the Distributed Control System (DCS) of the Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU). Besides, it also involved communicating and coordinating with other units and departments of the refinery to ensure smooth and synchronous functioning of the entire process.

  Worked as a Resource Mobilization coordinator, Bethany Society, Shillong, an NGO working for the mainstreaming and inclusion of persons with disabilities and promoting sustainable rural livelihoods. The key responsibilities included fundraising, communications & documentation (including website & digital content creation & management), strategy, data management & partnerships. Highlights: Fundraising: Raised INR 7 lakhs from over 110 donors in three weeks as part of Global Giving September 2019 Accelerator program which established the organization as permanent members on GlobalGiving. Conceptualization & Design: Conceptualized the plan and architecture of a new MIS for Bethany Society to enable informed decision making based on robust information & actionable insights Partnerships: Involved in establishing new partnerships with Govt. of Meghalaya, Asian Development Bank, Dasra, GiveIndia, GlobalGiving, Guidestar India, Google for Non-Profits. Communication & Documentation: Set-up the organization website & social media accounts. Established organization’s digital presence & credibility alliance with Guidestar India.   Internship Project

  Designed a Social Mapping Toolkit based on Human-Centric Design, for mapping social norms in Sonipat, Haryana that contribute to discrimination against adolescent girls with respect to their education & mobility. The toolkit was developed in collaboration with Breakthrough India. The project aimed at uncovering deep-rooted social norms in the concerned community and further at facilitating conversations about alternative norms & their adoption.
