      Konga.com is a sister company to Kalahari.com owned by MIH, namely Koos Bekker, e-commerce and Swedish partners.Approached by Corporate Renaissance Group to facilitate, re-engineer and upgrade all business process re-engineering, along with systems requirements. This role afforded me the opportunity to build a granny flat for my parents as we were paid in dollars and I could do this as a cash transaction.

      Brands Africa is the leading importer and distributor of high-end baby products in South Africa.Responsible for the re-implementation of the Pastel system. Implemented the warehousing system, as the warehousing system had not been purchased as yet from Syspro Partner.Created demarcated floor locations in the warehouse, labelled each sector. Used a whiteboard to record all inbound, outbound activities for the day along with each locations stock holding and created a FIFO methodology using the months on inbound as reference for picking purposes.Responsible for process updates for systems, warehousing, supply chain, transport and all affiliated costs. All master data field placings had to be changed in order to generate the correct reporting requirements for the site right down to the colour and model of the product. The re-engineering was completed by myself along with a Syspro consultant and the project cost was approximately R40K. Also responsible for the expansion into Africa and the supply chain requirements in South Africa and Africa. Responsible for the re-developing of the online facilities and introducing e-commerce into the business. Review of strategic planning, advertising, with television and other media sourcesOptimization of warehouse and financial reporting. Responsible for investigating pricing, introducing new products into the business and the market. Managing the change management requirements of staff to ensure that the business growth empowers and transforms along with the employees, Responsible for the implementation of a Quinny site in South Africa, implementation is done via the parent company in The Netherlands.
