I worked for a research project - 'Space Vector Modulation AC Drive' - a new method of generating Micro-controller controlled PWM generation. I designed the PCB having two Motorola-8097, tested & wrote the software for the same. The advantages of the method are 30% power saving and very precise control over motor with precision of 0.1 Hz in a range of 0 - 400 Hz.

The company is in the business of selling license, legal copies of software providing lifelong technical support to the clients. The company is an authorized dealer of complete range of Microsoft, SCO UNIX and other leading softwares. I was next to the director. I had successfully launched an anti-virus product and appointed dealers all-over Gujarat state. Was also totally handling all kinds of installation & complete technical support for all the software sold.The company had seen a growth of becoming a Pvt. Ltd. company - Adit Microsys Pvt.   Samyak Infotech Pvt. ltd. is a 100% EOU unit, honored by Gujarat Government in 2000 for being the fourth largest corporation as far as the total export revenues are concerned. The company is engaged in software development for a US company, Daylight Transport. The software handled total transportation activities starting from management of customer information to payment collection. The first phase includes modules like Customer Information (in details), Order Booking, Trip Management, loading-unloading schedule, Invoice generation, Physical delivery of goods, salvage etc.I joined the company in a situation of total mess. It was the first project of company with an appr. span of 100 man-month efforts for the first phase. The project was already lagging behind by a year (100% overrun) as against the schedule. Moreover, out of a team of 10 programmers, 4 core programmers had left the company for better carrier within a span of one month. I took over from that point and the first phase was completed & successfully implemented at US customer sight in seven months time-frame under my leadership. Show less

  At Gruh Finance Ltd (a subsidiary of HDFC Ltd), playing a role of Administration Head (IT), successfully implemented an out-sourced ERP across 44 branches scattered across Gujarat & Maharastra in a record time of just 4 months. It is important to note that the ERP was developed on Oracle Forms IV platform with more than 500 Forms! And it was an era of no connectivity between branches -> Internet era was not started in India. Still, the huge ERP was successfully implemented in record time of 4 months across 44 branches.Also, later on GRUH comes out with a unique home loan scheme first time in India – targeting low-income group of people – which challenges ERP’s basic design by having NEGATIVE amortization schedule! Job profile includes all aspects of Operation Management including Strategy, People, Space, Finance Management etc. at Unit level.I strengthen Unit’s Operation Planning & Assurance by defining, modifying and implementing processes with practical approach of implementation.The efforts of establishing & implementation of practical processes, from almost a stage of unaligned or undefined processes, were clearly reflected in Unit’s efficiency improvement by a sharp margin.
