  In my role at Nabim, I provided technical and administrative support to members on a range of policy areas, including wheat and supply chain issues, technical and regulatory affairs and environmental issues. I analysed and reported on industry statistics and liaised with key stakeholders across Government and the agri-food industry.

  Link is England's biggest environment and animal welfare coalition, bringing together over 50 NGOs. As Policy Lead, I managed Link's policy outputs and oversaw collaborative campaigns, specialising in sustainable agriculture, land use, invasive species, and bovine tuberculosis. My role included policy advocacy (focused primarily on Government), internal and external communications, budget management, strategic planning and reporting. As Policy and Campaigns Manager, I managed a varied policy portfolio including sustainable agriculture, invasive species, animal welfare, bovine tuberculosis, wildlife crime and land use planning. As Information and Policy Coordinator, I managed Link's Agriculture and Invasive Non-Native Species Working Groups. I was also responsible for Link's information provision services and human resources.

  I led the Royal Society’s science policy work on UK land use, environment and agriculture. Working with a Steering Group of Royal Society Fellows and other experts, I developed accurate, timely and influential scientific advice for key audiences including UK Government and the devolved administrations, research institutions, land management and environmental bodies. For example, I wrote the highly influential report ‘Multifunctional Landscapes: Informing a long-term vision for managing the UK’s land’, which has been cited by UK Government as a major contribution to the development of a more strategic, evidence-based approach to land use policy.My role involved complex programme management including budgets, reporting, line management and liaison with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. I also commissioned several pieces of research and managed relationships with external contractors. Show less

  As Partnership Manager for the West of England Nature Partnership (WENP), I provide collaborative leadership to advance nature's recovery in our region, supporting a resilient society and thriving economy. I oversee the development and implementation of WENP's strategic vision, working closely with cross-sector partners, including local authorities, statutory agencies, water companies, and environmental organisations.I support partners to establish a strong collective mission, develop ambitious programmes, access innovative funding and investment streams, and deliver measurable outcomes for nature recovery. I provide strategic advice to the Board and working groups, ensuring alignment with regional and national priorities, and act as a trusted convener and facilitator, empowering stakeholders to achieve their shared goals.In addition to strategic leadership, I manage WENP’s governance and finances, ensuring robust operational oversight. I also lead a dedicated team, including WENP's Nature and Health Coordinator and Partnership Administrator, to deliver a professional and efficient service for partners. Show less
