      Team leader for Product Cost team of four senior value engineers. As team leader I was responsible for setting, tracking and meeting cost savings targets for our team. We Focused on improving margins and reducing costs through the use of Should Cost Methodologies. - Created Bi-Weekly Scorecard tracking key cost and sourcing metrics.- Achieved ~$44M in material productivity through Should Cost methodologies from 2016 to 2017- Created all presentations to Senior Leadership including CEO. Show less As Fleet Manager for our Evolution Product line I was responsible for monitoring and tracking our locomotives performance against contractual obligations. I acted as the liaison between Union Pacific's engineering department and GE Transportation. I was the primary point of contact for our customer. - Planned and executed “Communication Loss” Field Modification Program allowing business to ship 87 locomotives for quarter point revenue claim of ~$160M. - Managed Reliability Improvement Plan resulting in 33% reduction in Failures.- Created first of kind monthly report to benchmark GE locomotives vs. completion.- Program Manager for Pre-Production overhaul program; completed on time and 20% under budget. Show less Assignment 1: Process Technical Adviser, Final Assembly. During this role I was direct supervisor to 12 union employees overseeing Locomotive Final Assembly. This assembly step is when the locomotive is prepped for Paint and Locomotive Testing. The largest part of this was overseeing the crane move to set the locomotive frame being set on its trucks. During this role I maintained and zero recordable injury rate. We had a run rate of 20 Locomotives per week.Assignment 2: LEAN Leader - Cabs.In this role I was a Lean Leader for our Main Cab and Auxiliary Cab Production Line. I was able to implement visual management production boards to track process of the main cab line. Another major accomplishment was reducing the cycle time of our door manufacturing process by 24 hours. This was achieved by completing a detailed time study and creating an “pull” process.During this role I also acted as Process Technical Adviser and Material Adviser to cover vacation liability.Assignment 3: LEAN Leader/Technical Director at BNSF Owned facility in Kansas CityIn this rotation I had Two Responsibilities Lean Leader and Technical Director. As Lean Leader I participate in in 3 Action workout across the GE/BNSF Service organization and led all aspects of the final workout in my facility. This final workout resulted in the implementation of a 4-hour takt running maintenance line.As technical director I was direct supervisor to 12 union BNSF Employees working the maintenance line. I was responsible for work direction as well as all safety briefing. During my time I have 0 injuries.Assignment 4: Strategic Sourcing - FabricationsFor this role I was responsible for eliminating suppliers from our supply base, in an effort to create a strategic supply base. My major accomplishment during this role was developing and implementing a digital tool to monitor and track $73MM dollars of spend across 1,300 parts. Show less
