  Facilitates/plans youth athletic programs, as well as engages with participants through a broad spectrum of physical activities. Wears many hats under the umbrella of child care. Responsible for maintaining a clean and functional facility for parents to feel comfortable dropping their kids off at, and more importantly, creating a safe and inviting space for kids to feel excited to be a part of. Engages with youth through education, free playtime, and everything in between. Lead camp coordinator for Summer. Helps plan & facilitate field trips for a group of 20+ children, ranging from the ages of 9-11. Supervises planned activities and manages strict timeframes in order to provide the optimal experience for the kids and supporting counselors. Acts as liaison between parents and the director team to maintain a streamlined communication process. Lead instructor of summer school education for 4th-5th Graders in the Auburn area. Helped to plan and coordinate a 6-week curriculum of reading, writing, and math designed to refresh students on concepts they have learned throughout the year, as well as, to prepare them for any new challenges they may face in the upcoming year. When academics were not in session, I helped chaperone during field trips and assisted other counselors in various enrichment activities that focused on the arts.
