      Being passionate about cars, I started my career in Fiat Mumbai as an apprentice in 1995• Initially trained in Metrology Lab and Tool room, was super glad to make it Fiat Uno Assembly line to handle Quality • Trained in FIAT's plant in Turkey and Poland• Starting initially from the trim line in the assembly line to underbody to completion (final assembly) to Track test, finishing line, body shop, paint shop, engine assembly and testing - handled it all.• Became the shift in-charge for Fiat plant quality within a span of 5 years• Was the 1st Product and Process auditor from Fiat India to be certified by Fiat Italy• Introduced SPC and modern tools (Datamyte) in Fiat India for tightening torque for bolts, torque meters, body gaps, spot welding, paint thickness etc.• 7 QC tools - Cp, Cpk, charts for visual management• Six sigma projects to reduce variation• Introduced several auditing methodologies - ICP - Initial CustomerPerception audits in all the shops, Long road tests, Engine layout etc• Dealer Audits and training• Handled the Quality and Production creation process for Fiat Uno Diesel, Fiat Palio Sienna & Weekender.
