      On the Spotlight Sounds Committee we provided JMU with local and small-venue music-related events. I served one year as marketing chair and one year as director. I was responsible for the committee and event management, contract negotiations, creation and oversight of marketing and promotional materials. I discovered a local artist, produced his debut album, and both created and executed the sales plan.I also served on the Center Stage Committee, which provided JMU with large-venue concerts. I helped set up the stage and lighting for fall and spring concerts. I was the Head of hospitality (Third Eye Blind), head of security (Corey Smith and Asiz Ansari) and head of stage crew (Jason Derulo). Leading up to shows I worked with marketing as well. Show less
