  As a frontend development intern, I worked with Valsco Technologies, a start-up housed in VIT's Technological Business Incubator. I worked on a project during my internship called "Vidhya", which was intended to build and create a comprehensive online platform for academic and professional progress. In addition to helping to create an important instructional resource, this experience gave me the chance to put my frontend development expertise to use and helped in contributing to the creation of a valuable educational resource using HTML, CSS and basics of JavaScript .   Under the guidance of Mr. Ajay Khanna (Vice President of VE Commercial Vehicles Limited), I got the opportunity to delve further into the field of Cyber Security.• During my internship in VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, I had the opportunity to delve into the realm of information security standards, gaining a comprehensive understanding of ISO 27000 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. These frameworks provide valuable guidelines for organizations seeking to protect their critical data and systems from cyberattacks. ISO 27000 emphasizes the implementation of a risk-based information security management system (ISMS), while the NIST Cybersecurity Framework focuses on identifying, prioritising, and mitigating cybersecurity risks.• To further my knowledge and contribute to the organization's cybersecurity posture, I developed a presentation on cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies. This presentation aimed to educate the organization's end users about the evolving cybersecurity landscape, emphasizing the importance of proactive measures in safeguarding their assets. The presentation covered a wide range of threats, including phishing attacks, malware infections, and data breaches, and provided practical guidance on how to mitigate these risks. To ensure that the end users grasped the material, we concluded the presentation with an interactive quiz, allowing them to test their understanding and reinforce the key takeaways. Show less
