  Reviewed advanced and conventional coal plant air emission control technologies and determined economics in response to expected mercury and toxic metal control legislation. Assisted in program development and evaluated OEM proposals for the Wilsonville Hot Gas Clean-up Coal Gasification Facility. Developed a proprietary compact particulate, NOx reduction, SO2 oxidation, and acids condensation process. Successfully started-up a proprietary salt-splitting pilot process. Managed the EPRI Plant Scholz Fabric Filter Pilot Plant. Conducted the pilot scale Low Temperature Heat Recovery project (heat pipes). Played a lead role in diagnosing and economically correcting power plant draft, coal pulverization systems, cooling towers and electrostatic precipitator deficiencies. Participated in the commissioning of the Vogtle 2 cooling system.
