Coordinates all event logistics including securing venue both on and off campus, creates floor plans, venue set-up/tear-down, catering, audio-visual requirements, registration, preparing and sending invitations, registration, promotion, event staffing, presenter/speaker/volunteer orientation, photographer/videographer, display materials and decor, onsite event management (when required), etc.Prepares budgets for events to be approved by event owner. Secures, trains, and oversees event volunteers. Is responsible for overseeing all large scale and small-scale events that take place within the Nicol Building both with external stakeholders, internal departments, and the general Carleton community.
