This makes a… Show more Rising StarRoger has continually and since he first joined Auckland Council been a team member that constantly and proactively supports and assists others in developing their skills or supporting them to achieve their goals. Whether they be colleagues from the business in relation to a project he is part of or his direct peers and team mates, or other ICT team members. Roger always goes the extra distance to ensure everyone understands what they need to do and how to do it. This makes a huge difference when timelines and budgets are tight and he is constantly looking at and reviewing the way we deliver the work to save both time and money. He has been actively supporting the development of some of his team mates in Test Automation by holding weekly development sessions with them, all while he is still involved in testing and delivering on the Building Consent ART and other deliverables required of him. He is an all rounder that is constantly receiving acknowledgement and praise from others from our wider business and from within other ICT Teams, including his own. We are so fortunate to have someone like him with such a broad coverage and understanding of the technical ins and outs of SAP, that he gained in previous roles overseas before emigrating to New Zealand and joining Auckland Council.Rising StarThe extended energy and enthusiasm he showed in the area of automation testing and the overall effort he put in the team activities made me nominate him for the award.
