  - Serve as a part-time student staff member supervising a co-ed hall of 34 freshmen during the school year and 20 upperclassmen over the summer- Facilitate the development of community through initiatives- Mediate conflicts between roommates and hallmates by utilizing mediation training, the Community Agreement, and Shared Living Expectations - Connect residents with resources as necessary- Enforce William & Mary’s policies by informing residents of them and confronting and reporting violations- Perform administrative tasks such as weekly reports, duty logs, key check-outs, incident and care reports, service requests, emails, etc- Serve as a Mandatory Reporter for William and Mary, Campus Security Authority, and a Responsible Employee as defined by the Clery Act and Title IX- Respond to crises and emergencies as directed in established protocols by the university and Residence Life at William and Mary- Assume on-call duty responsibilities 2-3 times a month for 13 hours at a time- Assist with the opening and closing of the residence halls at the beginning and end of each semester and other officially scheduled breaks Show less
