      - Lead researcher and author of report on lobbying regulation, Influence and Integrity: Lobbying and its Regulation in Ireland, published in November 2014. This study was part of a European Commission funded project involving 19 European countries.- Project-managed Ireland's 2013 Open Government Partnership consultation with citizens and civil society - www.ogpireland.ie. This consultation was funded by Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. - Researched, wrote and project-managed a major study on anti-corruption reforms in Ireland. The National Integrity Systems report, published in October 2012, analysed legislative efforts to tackle corruption and white-collar crime.Also responsible for:- recruiting and managing volunteer research assistants;- organising public seminars and press events;- speaking at public seminars, briefings and press events;- liaising with expert advisory groups on research;- media work, including RTE's Prime Time and Drive Time, and TV3's Tonight with Vincent Browne;- social media and website updates;- preparing policy submissions, press releases, blogs and project proposals;- detailed financial reporting to the European Commission.       - Produced a unique web-based Toolkit to Open Government, a series of guides that shine a light on how government works and show how ordinary citizens can play an active role in shaping in the decisions that affect their lives. The Toolkit, www.tasc.ie/opengovtoolkit, consists of ten practical user guides that contain information, tips and case studies. They cover topics including how policies and laws are made and can be influenced, how local government works, where to look for official information, how to use Freedom of Information, and how citizens can get involved as watchdogs in public life.Also co-produced with RTÉ podcast series with host Mary Minihan - How to Be an Active Citizen https://www.tasc.ie/archive/activecitizenThe Toolkit was launched in June 2015 by the Head of Lobbying Regulation, Ms Sherry Perreault. http://www.tasc.ie/events/2015/06/10/special-lunchtime-seminar-on-lobbying-regulation-a/FETAC qualified trainer - providing training for citizens and civil society representatives on how policy is made and how best to use open government tools.
