The current project I am working on is a Scoping Literature Review of the extant literature on total laryngectomies. The findings of this literature review will help identify the gaps in research and determine what research needs to be conducted to understand all of the aspects and impacts of total laryngectomies. As a New Student Orientation Leader for MSU, I worked with incoming freshman and transfer students. I scheduled students' courses via video chat, communicated with advisors and professional staff at MSU, ran small group orientation meetings, and provided students with all the necessary tools to be successful in their first year at MSU.

Throughout my internship I have completed several research projects such as: conducting an environmental scan of Social and Emotional Learning resources, creating a needs assessment survey, co-writing youth articles on keeping kids safe, and creating handouts of mindfulness activities for both parents and children.
