This degree encompassed all aspects of the Data Science, giving me a comprehensive understanding of statistics, machine learning, high performance computing and big data, computational maths amongst others. I particularly enjoyed algorithms and data structures, my project was to design and create a database and interface using recursion, binary trees, graphs, stacks & queue in C# language. My dissertation was a review of the modelling techniques used by the government to predict the spread of COVID-19 using the Karl Friston modelling approach. This ranged from food preservation techniques to safety and much more. My dissertation looked at the food preservation gases used to extend the shelf life of blueberries. I compared several different gas compositions to determine the optimum balance of gases to maximise the shelf life of blueberries.
