  Aided Graduate students in 2D and 3D in vitro experiments to optimize the design of a new versatile chemotaxis device called the NANo IntraVital Imaging Device (NANIVID) for cancer research. Cultured MTnL3 cells and preformed upshift assays to analyze the response of metastatic cancer cells to the release of a chemotaxis by the device.

  Cultured COS-7 cells and performed transfection of α2A adrenergic receptor (α2AAR) into cells. Induced Cos-7 cells with agonist, epinephrine, and antagonist, yohimbine. Prepared cell lysates for western blot analysis, in order to characterize a novel phosphosite antibody that detected the phosphorylation of α2AAR. Performed phosphatase assay to validate findings.

Maintain records of all hazardous waste picked up from QC labs and perform weekly inspections of 90 days storage area for compliance.
