  I worked on an EPSRC funded grant for generic instrumentation applied to the ultrasonic testing of adhesively bonded structures, particularly automobiles and aircraft constructed in steel or aluminium. This involved the development of DSP techniques for classification of the state of cure of the adhesive and for ensuring the presence of the far-face substrate.
