Sept 2009 - nowProgramme manager position with Network Rail Design Delivery (NRDD). I have been challenged with developing my own personal abilities whilst also acting as the Lead within the CP6/7 Framework Contract; progressing towards the CP6 as the previous MFD framework was due to exposure. My time here, has seen me manage the new design framework; ensuring that the DFS was set up to allow any part of Network Rail to procure design or manage services through the framework, I have also, championed the inclusivity of all Routes & areas of the Network Rail business, NRDD, IP, Routes and other delivery service providers. I was requested to spearhead the structure and management process, ensuring a consistent approach to design and support in order to achieve 35% SSE. Throughout my time, I have sought innovative ways of procuring the framework; opened the remit and reported at Director Level, ensuring all objectives were met and achieved. Additionally, I have liaised directly with Unions; entering consultation and discussion how any changes with impacts on National Rail and played a key role as a Manager, with responsibility for 6 Direct Reports; identifying training and development needs and maximising productivity. Overall, I have managed all aspects of; stakeholder management, line management, project coordination, resource management, organisation and planning, commercial management, quality assurance and overall compliance. Show less As a Scheme Project Manager, I provided key leadership and direction overseeing project requirements, ensuring compliance with Governance for Rail Investment Projects (GRIP). I held full responsibility for compliance with the 088/089 Asset Management Plan (AMP) for all teams within IPEM, ensuring clear communication and understanding at all levels. I also oversaw large scale change; coordinated with key stakeholders including the Senior Sponsor as well as the wider Senior Route team whilst also supporting the Route, Maintenance and MDU’s with key interface requirements including the E&P RAM. On top of all of my responsibilities, I ensured the smooth running of the project by encouraging effective collaboration across the project team, the wider route team based in East Midlands and third-party stakeholders.
