  Master Thesis Student

  My Master's dissertations work was based on plant biotechnology. I had worked on "standardization of rapid micropropagation protocol for 2 fern species - Christella sp. and Microsorum punctatum" where experiments were performed using various concentrations of different hormones, different media, explants and surface sterilization techniques. I also did review work on tissue culture, antibacterial properties and phytochemical analysis on various ferns. Also ferns used for phytoremediation and ecological indicators were taken into account. A part of my dissertation work has also been published in the book - "Handbook of Agriculture and Plant Sciences" in the form of book chapter in Chapter 18. Show less
