      Facilitated the transition of the county's alternative high school into a College and Career Academy model.• Forged over 150 business, postsecondary and community partnerships to shape and support the creation of four industry-themed technical academies• Recruited and formalized an executive council and four program level academy councils to provide leadership support for the school's transition process• Collaborated with community partners to develop and coordinate new school programs including the BBB’s “In Pursuit of Ethics,” Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce’s Champions program, Swim RVA Aquatics program and ChildSavers’ trainings • Facilitated industry tours, guest speakers, workplace readiness and career exploration events and developed work sites and initial processes for student workplace experiences including job shadowing, volunteer opportunities, internships and apprenticeships• Coordinated with postsecondary partners to increase dual enrollment opportunities resulting in some academy programs offering all dual enrollment classes• Solicited in-kind and financial donations to support technical and sports programs and collaborated with executive council to develop and formalize a fund development plan • Coordinated a public dedication event to celebrate the school’s new name and instructional model.
