  My primary project was teaching English as a Foreign Language to approximately 200 total students, ranging from grades 4-11, in a local gymnasium in Ukraine. I collaborated and coordinated a "Language Needs" action plan for my hosting school and the community. I facilitated 2 summer camps and 2 after school programs for advancing the language skills of my students and other community members. I conducted national and local English Exams. I hand-made a myriad of curriculum resources and daily lesson plans. I participated in 2 grant writing workshops and assessed grant potential for my hosting educational institution. I gained an Advanced level of Russian speaking as tested by the Peace Corps and possessed a beginning reading comprehension of Ukrainian. I helped the Peace Corps evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing volunteer reporting methods.In a passive capacity: I lived in my community with very limited resources, adapting to the minimal level of English speaking of community members, relying on community relationships and my blossoming knowledge of Russian to go about daily activities. Conducted "Soft Diplomacy", by being friendly and genuine, I was able to passively show a small aspect of the United States to average Ukrainians.Greatest achievement: Having students go on to continue their education in numerous other countries where they relied on their knowledge of English.   Utilize a business to business and direct to consumer model of the Healthcare Exchanges to deliver the highest quality to individual participants and large clients. I sold health and prescription plans to Medicare eligible retirees using a Business to Business sales pipeline. Took calls from participants to verify status and eligibility. Advised participants of required documents and submission methods. Acted as team work-flow sweeper and SME.   As Function LEAN Lead:-Operate as functional area Lean Coach, aiding team members in gaining required resources and connection to fulfill Lean projects;-Execute Gemba Walk project, evaluating core team duties: eliminating waste and adding efficiency;-Facilitate Lean individual projects from Ideation to Done on NALH Kaizen board;-Create Gemba Guide for streamlining of Gemba and Kaizen events.As Life Associate/Reinsurance Accountant:-Perform monthly GAAP and quarterly STAT account reconciliations for 3 Life block legal entities;-Perform Non-Modeled monthly and Error & Omission Accruals with Journal Entries;-Run and review month-end reports for accuracy maintaining SOX and GE controls;-Review, update, or create new Standard Operating Procedures (3-4 per year);-Maintain end to end ownership of client financial and reinsurance impact, incl. claims;-Compile and reconcile inforce reports from clients using Excel and Business Objects;-Ad Hoc projects: rate, inforce, and premium/commission audits per adherence to reinsurance contract;-Create transparent audit trail of all transactions for state, federal, and client audits;-Additionally, work with said audit institutions to aide in their research and projects; -Terminate and process recaptured reinsurance contracts and perform respective desk audits:-Act as point of contact for more than 30 clients and help resolve various issues.
