  Mysticons Team Leader

  My task as a Team Leader was to hold daily scrums, allocate workloads, check up on general mood levels, manage open-source and Palo Alto Networks team general progress and milestones. One of my objectives was also to prioritize efficient communication between Mysticons and other partner companies within the WIMMA Lab. Mysticons was responsible for overseeing the development and operations of our Security Operations Center (SOC) at WIMMA Lab. I played a major role in designing, deploying and configuring a multi-cluster kubernetes network of over 40+VM's, consisting of mixture of a 8 Mk8s and K8s clusters, with HA-Proxy cluster managing the entire cluster network. My task was to configure SIEM using various open source tools such as Wazuh with custom ruleset, Falco eBPF and MISP for threat intelligence and Shuffle as our SOAR and alerting system. I have also experience in configuring Argo CD and Testkube that will alert chosen communications platform (Slack, Discord, Teams, etc) about new container deployments and automated test results. I also have some experience in Palo Alto Networks Prisma cloud deployment and configurations as well as alerting through webhooks.Personally my best achievement was to witness the team advancing in complex topics at incredible speed and develop as individuals as well as at technical level and find out new possible career paths for the future.   My position currently is heavily infrastructure development and maintenance oriented but does include system administrator-related customer service as well as assisting education-oriented staff when it comes to course planning, sparring with ideas or debugging some specific areas I'm familiar with. I also do get to enjoy taking part in development of processes and communications in between areas of expertise and specialized teams. Engaging exercise scenarios as a cyber range facilitator and system administrator is also one of my responsibilities.I have a deep interest in observability, and one of my projects has involved planning, evaluating the quality of my work, creating configurations, developing custom modules for existing open source tools, and setting up an entirely new SIEM and log collection system. Creating comprehensive documentation and automating observability tricks at scale are also some of the good stuff I get to do. Show less
